AUTOLINE IITM
Independent Tests Prove the AUTOLINE IITM Abrasive Cutting Nozzle Cuts Faster and at a Lower Cost Than Any Other Nozzle. New, Simplified Modular Design The new AUTOLINE IITM has an easier fitting for the abrasive hose, an abrasive inlet mounted at an angle for improved flow and a new, larger wear insert which is much easier to replace. The modular design of the AUTOLINE IITM provides the ultimate in efficiency. Like the original AUTOLINE IITM, all wear components can be changed individually, as needed, allowing maximum efficiency. In all abrasive cutting heads, there are three areas of wear: the orifice, the mixing chamber, and the focusing tube. The AUTOLINE IITM enables the individual
replacement of any wear component, maximizing efficiency to achieve the lowest operating cost.
Abrasive Metering System
FEEDLINE IV
Stable and repeatable operating parameters are a fundamental requirement for high-quality waterjet cutting. This applies in particular to abrasive applications used to cut brittle materials, where a constant flow of abrasive is simply a must. KMT Waterjet Systems responded to this demand by developing the FEEDLINE IV abrasive metering system. Controlled through a central CNC controller or a potentiometer, the FEEDLINE IV supplies the cutting head with the optimized flow of abrasive. This helps save material and costs. The FEEDLINE IV technology
The FEEDLINE IV system supplies the cutting head with a constant metered quantity of abrasive. Without this controlled supply, the mixing chamber for abrasive, air and water would become clogged up. With the FEEDLINE IV, this is effectively prevented. It feeds a metered flow of abrasive by means of compressed air into a 0.8-liter transfer tank. At the base of the tank, the abrasive collects on the metering and transfer wheel whose rotational speed determines the feed rate to the cutting head.
Abrasive Delivery System
ADS SERIES HOPPERS
Production reliability requires constant vigilance during the entire cutting process. An economical and successful cutting process depends greatly on a constant abrasive flow rate. This fact becomes even more important when cutting brittle materials such as
stone, marble or glass. Abrasive Flow Monitoring saves Time & Costs Our ADS SERIES HOPPERS precisely monitor the availability of sufficient abrasive closely during the entire cutting process. This protects your valuable material from damage and saves unnecessary costs and time. Its concept assures process stability, security and a very high degree of reliability. Stand Alone Unit or System Integratable The ADS SERIES HOPPER provides all features to stabilize the cutting process and can be installed in two different ways: a stand-alone unit or an integrated component connected to a centralized control system. When used in one or multiple shift operation of automated cutting systems, the ADS SERIES HOPPER delivery system contributes to the economical use of the entire waterjet cutting system.
